Week 8 develops the higher-level reasoning skills behind probability, conditional probability, sampling, margin of error, and the evaluation of statistical claims.
Schedule: July 27 and July 29.
Students learn not just how to compute answers but also how to think critically about what the data actually show. This is one of the most valuable weeks for building mature SAT Math reasoning. Students will learn how to solve basic and conditional probability problems, distinguish between independent and dependent events, understand random sampling and margin of error, evaluate whether a statistical claim is justified, and tell the difference between observational studies and experiments. It builds sharp reasoning, not just memorization—great for both the SAT and future academic work.
