Get ready to build, code, and race into STEM! In this hands-on class, elementary school students will explore the exciting world of smart cars using Micro:bit-based car kits. Designed especially for younger learners, this class focuses on the coding that makes the car move, turn, respond, and complete fun driving challenges, while also giving students a chance to build and customize their own vehicle.

Guided by experienced instructors, students will learn how coding controls real-world technology as they program their cars to drive, navigate obstacles, and respond to different commands. While some time will be spent assembling and understanding the parts of the car, the main focus of the class is helping students build confidence in coding through fun, interactive challenges. By working step by step, students will see how their code directly brings their car to life.

Throughout the course, students will strengthen problem-solving, logical thinking, and creativity as they test, debug, and improve their programs. The experience is designed to be engaging, approachable, and exciting for younger students who are just beginning their STEM journey.
